Splash Panels
How do the splash panels join together?
Our joining system is a unique patented installation method that give the panels a seamless waterproof join. First apply our high tack adhesive ‘Seal tape’ to the wall and then apply HG adhesive to the back of the panel. Place the panel onto the wall and over half the tape. Then you apply a 3mm bead of silicone down the side of the panel and onto the tape. Then butt the joining panel up to it leaving a small gap of about 2mm. Then using a wet finger or silicone tool clean the join down leaving a small amount of silicone sitting at the bottom of the joint.

You can see a full installation guide on each Splash Panel product listing on our website.

Are your splash panels easy to maintain? What should I use?
The panels are very easy to clean as there is no grout to trap the dirt. If you have the panels in your shower, then we recommend you rinse the panels down after your shower and clean the silicone joins using a mild detergent and cloth 1-2 times a week. For other areas, a wipe down with mild detergent a few times a month to prevent dirt build up. Do not use abrasive clothes when cleaning.
Can I fit your splash panels myself?
Yes, the panels are easy to install if you have basic DIY skills. There is no need for expensive specialist tools, just a Stanley knife, spirit level and a straight edge. Otherwise, you can ask your builder to fit them. As the panels can be fitted in 1/3 of the time it takes to fit tiles there should be a saving on installation costs.
Can I fit your splash panels over my existing tiles?
Yes, the panels can be fitted over any level surface and as they are only 2-3mm you will not lose space. There is no need to strip off the old tiles. Just clean and rinse down thoroughly then fit the panels over the top.
What are splash panels?
To make Our Splash Panels we take a sheet of Acrylic or PVC, same as your shower tray or bath. Then mould it so it looks and feels like tiles but there is no grouting to be done. The clever moulding of the panel means that you can also join them together seamlessly without the need for joining profiles.
Brick Panels
Can your brick slip panels be used as a fire surround?
Yes, Our Fire Panels are suitable for log/wood burners, gas and electric fires. They are not suitable for open flame fires.
Do you have all your brick slip panels in stock?
We keep stocks of all panels and lead times are typically 7-10 working days. Larger or bespoke orders may take longer. This will be confirmed on order.
Can your panel systems be made in any other brick colours?
Yes, we are able to use a variety of colours and styles of our brick slips. These orders would be classed as bespoke and would extend the lead time, please call to discuss your requirements and to find out an accurate lead time.
Can brick slip panels be used outside?
Yes, the panels can be used indoors or out, from -40˚C to +150˚C. They are water, frost and heat resistant. Since the brick slips are made from reconstituted stone they will not ‘blow’ like traditional clay bricks are prone to.
Are your brick slip panels cost effective?
A typical fitter can fit around 8 m2 of loose brick slips a day. With the Express Panel System this could be as much as 40 m2. Factoring in this rapid fitting time makes the panels very cost effective. Using traditional methods, typically, 1 m2 of brick slips takes one hour to fit. With the Express Panel System this can reduced to as little as 10 minutes.
Stone Slips
Is your stone cladding natural stone?

Some of our Stone Cladding is manufactured stone. It is cast in moulds to give the look, feel, texture and colours of natural stone. Manufactured stone is more resilient and stable than their natural counterparts.

However, we do supply natural stone cladding. When searching product pages if you scroll down the page you will find full product specifications that should detail the material that the cladding is made from.

Brick Slips
How do I fix them to the wall?

Our bricks slips can be attached to an exterior wall using our specialist cladding mortar, or a standard brick laying mortar with plasticiser. For internal use a flexible cement based tile adhesive or cement based tube grip adhesive if sufficient. Then you use a normal pointing mortar to finish your project.

Can you use brick slips in a fireplace?

Our brick slips can be used around burners and in fireplaces. They have a class O fire rating. We would recommend using a specialist fire rated adhesive if the fireplace will exceed temperatures of 100°C or be in contact with direct heat, such as an open fire. Any other fireplaces such as gas or electric should be fine.

Can brick slips be used outside?

Yes, our brick slips can be used externally. Our Brick slips have been tested to BS: 4551 and ASTM C67, C39, C567, C177-04, C67 in which they matched and in some cases exceeded other products in the same marketplace.

What are brick slips?

Brick slips, also known as ‘Brick Tiles’, ‘Thin Bricks’, and ‘Brick Veneers’ are the faces of bricks. Ours are either cast brick slips that are made in moulds using high-quality cement, aggregates, cement dyes and up to 60% recycled materials. Or we source real clay bricks and cut them down into brick slips.

Brick slips are used as facia tiles when the construction of a full brick wall isn’t possible or an easy alternative for a feature wall.
